In Memorandum

It is with great sadness that I am posting this message.
On Tuesday, November 26th , we lost a good friend of the bird community. Sadly, Roni (Ron) lost
his short battle with cancer. Ron was an avid lover of all birds. He not only was the “conure guy”
but was active as a falconer and enjoyed all wild birds. He was truly one of those crazy “bird
people” as we would often say.

Ron’s passion was contagious. Those that had conversations with Ron left with greater
appreciation of their pet bird. He was one that would always want to help anyone who was in
distress, sometimes to a fault. But then that was Ron, and we loved him for that.
Ron was my “work husband” but was a real-life husband, was a father and had a longtime
housemate and an uncle that will deeply miss him. We all depended on him in many ways and
for that we will be truly thankful.

Ron would have wanted you to be thankful for all that you have and appreciate each day. Be kind
to one another and remember that time on this earth is limited, and we should always consider
doing charitable deeds. Even though he is not physically with us, he will be with us in spirit.
Thank you, Ron, for being there for us in time of need. We will always remember you.
